Sick of Myself Is Out Today!

Today I’m releasing my new single, Sick of Myself.

This song came out of a major transition in my life. After many years of living alone and being deeply rooted in independence, I found myself stepping into a stable partnership and building a shared life with someone else. It made me reflect on how much of my early adulthood was centred around self-reliance, and how natural it now feels to want something bigger than that.

I’ve been thinking a lot about connection, community, care, and what it means to invest your energy into building something meaningful with another person.

That shift lives at the heart of this song.

Sick of Myself is about moving beyond being the main character in your own story. It’s about wanting to love more generously, live more openly, and care about something beyond yourself.

Musically, it’s one of my favourite contrasts on the record. The verses sit in a darker, more introspective space, while the chorus opens into something energetic, immediate, and fun. It became one of those songs that made us want to dance every time we hit the chorus while making it.

Pushing Forty Is One Month Away

My debut album, Pushing Forty, arrives in just one month on May 29th.

This record explores identity, aging, humour, vulnerability, reinvention, and learning how to let go of who you thought you had to be. It’s personal, reflective, playful, and without question the most honest body of work I’ve made.
